PIECING THE WORLD BACK TOGETHER
Minimal Zine in collaboration with Doka Gallery, presents ‘Piecing The World Back Together’, the latest work by London-based photographer Robin Ek. The exhibition will take place at the 9th edition of Art Photo BCN 2022, from 8—11 Sept 2022 at Disseny Hub Barcelona.
The photo series comprises thousands of images collected across the world over years of shooting. Initially filed as leftovers, they soon begin to harmonize and fall into place. Unintentional connections emerge from within the material, images are interlinked into a growing tapestry and a notion of oneness slowly develops. Every connection made, is a subtle suggestion of a new way to make sense of what might seem lost or fractured. The hope is to inspire a new perspective on our everyday environment. Everything holds potential. Every little piece is part of a transcendent whole.
12 Prints – 2 Formats selected personally by Robin. A larger size of 40x50cm and a smaller size of 20x25cm. The larger size is perfect for a diptych and with the smaller size you can make your own selection.
HQ Limited Editions – The works are printed on Hahnemuhle Photorag 308grs fine art paper by a skilled Hahnemuhle studio. The works will be sold by DoKa Gallery only as an exclusive edition and they will be delivered with a signed certificate by Robin Ek.
